• Program Note
  Before composing this piece, I focused on small and fundamental sound materials. In order to explore the timbral characteristics of an instrument, I considered which instruments and instrumental techniques could be used for each sound material.
  
  In this piece, I focused not only on individual sound materials, but also on the overall progression and atmosphere of the work. Two important compositional principles are repetition and inversion.

  Vor diesem Stück habe ich mich auf kleine und grundlegende Klangmaterialien konzentriert. Um die Klangfarbe eines Instruments auszudrücken, habe ich darüber nachgedacht, für welches Instrument und welche Instrumentaltechnik ein bestimmtes Klangmaterial verwendet werden kann.
  
  Für dieses Stück habe ich mich nicht nur mit den einzelnen Klangmaterialien beschäftigt, sondern auch mit dem gesamten Ablauf und der Atmosphäre des Werkes. Wichtige kompositorische Prinzipien sind dabei die Wiederholung und die Umkehrung.
